How Irene left its mark on Connecticut

When Irene hit Connecticut August 27, 2011, it was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm, but that didn't stop it from making its mark on the landscape of the state.

    Still recovering after Irene

    There was virtually no corner in Connecticut untouched by Irene, but much of its true force was felt along the shoreline. Even now people are still coming to terms with what happened just as utilities deal with yet another crisis.
