The 21-year-old Halep broke the 2011 Wimbledon champion on four consecutive service games. It was Halep's fourth career win, and all of them have come since June.

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — A cousin of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez pleaded not guilty Friday to a contempt charge for allegedly refusing to testify before the grand jury that indicted Hernandez in the murder of a friend. Tanya Singleton was ordered held without bail and is due back in court on October 3rd. Hernandez pleaded not guilty to murder and weapons charges in June. He's being held without bail.
