PD: Fugitive from justice arrested in Ledyard

LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) - A wanted man was arrested in Ledyard on Saturday evening.

According to police, around 5:30 p.m., 31-year-old Levy Pierce of Preston was observed riding a moped along Route 2. He was stopped for an alleged motor vehicle violation.

Officials then learned Pierce had an active felony arrest warrant from the State of New Hampshire against him. The warrant was extraditable from all New England states.

Pierce was then placed under arrest as a fugitive from justice.

He was held on a $150,000 bond and is set to appear in court on Monday.
