BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)-- Three women were arrested after a physical altercation at a Bridgeport street gathering on Monday.
Police say they responded to the 300 block of Remington Street around 2:30 AM to the report of shots fired. The victim told police she invited the three suspects to her apartment, but tried to usher them out following an argument.
One guest, Kiiarah Sharpe, 20, of Waterbury, told the victim she would leave when she felt like it. The situation turned physical when the victim put hands on Sharpe to push her out and Sharpe then allegedly attacked her.
The victim's brother woke up and helped his sister push the three woman outside where the scuffle continued.
The victims said Sharpe called to one of the other women "to go get your gun." Octavia Jordan, 23, of Waterbury, then retrieved her handgun, racked it, and pointed it at the victims.
She did not fire any shots. The victims fled inside.
The car the women were in was pulled over by police on Boston Avenue. The women were removed from the vehicle. Jordan told police she had a licensed gun in the glove compartment.
Jordan was charged with threatening, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. She was held on $10,000 bond.
Sharpe was charged with assault, strangulation and disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $5,000.
