New Haven (WTNH) - Police in New Haven have released the 911 tape from a woman whowas critically burned by her boyfriend.
The incident happened in the early morning hours of November15th in the Fair Haven section of the city.
Howard Stewart allegedly doused his girlfriend and her 12-yearold daughter with an accelerant. Christina Lee, suffered second andthird degree burns to her chest and legs. The 12-year old did notget burned.
The incident sparked a fire in the house as well.
Lee ran downstairs to her neighbors for help. You can hear Leescreaming in the background as the neighbors called 911.
"The lady is burnt. She has burnt marks all over her body," theneighbor told the 911 dispatcher.
Prior to the incident, the 12-year old disclosed to her motherthat Stewart had fondled her.
Stewart told police, "I never touched that girl. She just lyingto cause more problems. All night long [Lee said] you ain't nevergonna see your baby, you'll never see her again cause you ain'tgonna hurt her."
Lee and Stewart have a three month old child together who wasalso in the home at the time of the incident. She was notharmed.
Stewart has been charged with arson, risk of injury to a minor,assault and reckless endangerment. He is being held on a $2 millionbond.
