ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH)-- Four teenagers were injured after crashing into a utility pole in Orange on Friday afternoon.
Two of them are in serious condition.
It happened just before 4 PM on Indian River Road. A Subaru lost control and hit a pole.
Four teenagers were in the car. Rescue crews had to cut them out and three were taken to the hospital.
The driver, 18-year-old, AJ Cedillo, of West Haven, had life-threatening injuries.
The three passengers are teenage girls, whose identities are not being released because they are juveniles. They also received serious injuries.
Police are still investigating.
"I couldn't believe what I saw," said Keith Dalling.
Neighbors heard cries for help moments after a horrific accident in Orange on 85 Indian River Road.
"I came out of my backyard and the girl was laying out the car," said Dalling.
Keith Dalling who lives steps away from crash site, rushed to help the victims using his cell phone to call police.
"I saw the girls and the girl was asking me to help her and I just held her," said Dalling.
Witnesses say the male driver and one of the female passengers were pinned in the car.
"The passenger, I got her out and got her on the ground and then went back to the other girl that was hanging there. She was pinned underneath the driver seat," said Dalling.
As the Good Samaritan waited for paramedics to arrive....
"I was just trying to keep them talking and keep them calm," said Dalling.
Police say the driver and three passengers were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital.
