NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- If you're in downtown Norwich you could see an artist in action, and she doesn't stop when the sun goes down.
And it's just the beginning. When Faith Wibberley is done the whole wall will be completely painted in a huge mural, but it's really the process that is the big event.
"It's going to depict the Rose City re-blossoming, coming back to life," said Wibberley. "So pretty exciting."
Wibberley is the artist.
An illustrator by trade, she is also a member of the Peniel Church just up the hill on Boswell Avenue, which is organizing the live art exhibit. For the next 24 hours she will hope to bring the 800 square foot wall next to the Spirit of Broadway Theater to life.

"How are you going to make it through the night," asked News 8's Tina Detelj.
"Well endurance, determination," said Wibberley. "I think when you have a purpose anything's possible."
The purpose of the live mural is to lift the spirits of the often struggling city.
"I think it's great to get the Rose City back to where it used to be," said Norwich resident Regan Miner.
And to raise money for youth programs.
"I think you need to have a picture of what you are doing, but you also need to do something," Wibberley said. "So we're raising money to pour into lives to bring the city back to life."
Others are also helping. The paint is donated and the city will light up the outdoor canvas through the night.
"So wish me luck," Wibberley said.
News 8 did get a look at what the mural is going to look like when it's complete, but we don't want to ruin the surprise. It should be done by noon on Wednesday, but you can come down any time before that to support this effort.
