New Haven (WTNH) - It has been six months since a destructive fire forced Adriana'sRestaurant in New Haven to close its doors. But despite thetough economic times, the owners decided to rebuild.
Inside everything is new; literally floor to ceiling.
"What was left of this place was only the four walls, like ashell, nothing else but we made it," Manager Francesco Lulajsaid.

Lulaj: "I'm very ready"
In November, the restaurant was damaged by a fire, wiping outboth dining rooms. Everything was a loss right down to theplates.
"Like I said, everything is new, new dishes for pasta," saidLulaj.
Dinings rooms have been re-done, the bar is all new and wine hasbeen re-stocked.
While insurance covered part of the cost, the owners are payinga big price to re-open during a recession.
"We're not going no where," said Lulaj. "We are in New Haven toserve New Haven with good food and good service."
Adriana's is creating jobs, hiring 15 people to work in theso-called new restaurant.
The menu is the same and so is the chef in the kitchen. Andif you stop by for dinner by next Wednesday, they'll fill thatchampagne glass for free.
