We all know that breakfast is THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAYbut many of us (especially our kids) skip it due to lack oftime. I do find that kids will make the time for junk food atbreakfast and then we all wonder why they are having energy orattention problems or why our kids can't seem to focus. Theanswer is a HEALTHY BREAKFAST! I know what you Mom's arethinking............BUT LISA I am lucky to even get my kids out ofthe house on time. Have no fear I have two kids myself soI truly understand the need for quick, easy and mostimportant Yummy breakfast that will boost your kids brain power andkeep him or her healthy so THEY DON'T MISS ANYSCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way these recipes are tested by my VERY, VERY PICKY eatermy 8 year old son Kyle as well as my "eat anything" teenager. SO you can be sure that they are do-able.....................YESeven they can fix these breakfast and make it to the school bus ontime!

Brain Boosting CHUNKY MONKEY
Mix in a blender
Â½ - Cup of Skim or low fat Milk
2 Scoops of LYN fit Complete Protein Powder-Chocolate
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter or Nutella
1 Banana Frozen is best
5-6 ice cubes
Blend these ingredients in a blender for 1 minute on high speedor less if you like your shake thick! Pour it into a TO-GOcup and your kid can drink it on the way to school or thebus! And........................it's great for you!
Mommy's Magic Cereal Bras
These bars can be made in under 10 minutes and wrapped upindividually so that it becomes a grab and go breakfast that yourkids will LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE!!!!!!!!
6 Tablespoons of Smart balance 50/50 butter **this is great forbrain power because it contains good fats.
5 cups of miniature marshmallows
Â½ cup of peanut butter or butterscotch chips if yourchild is allergic to peanut butter. Chocolate chips worktoo!
5 cups of toasted oat cereal
Directions: Spray a 13 X 9 inch pan on bottom with andsides with non stick cooking spray.
-In a large bowl melt 50/50 Smart balance. Addmarshmallows, stir to coat. Microwave on high for 1Â½ minutes (times may vary) or until smooth when stirredfor 45 seconds. Stir in peanut butter or butter scotchchips.
-Add cereal all at once and stir quickly to coat. Withbuttered/sprayed spatula press into prepared pan. Cool andcut into squares and place in individual wraps whencooled. ENJOY these they have all of the food groups inone yummy square-most important ingredient is protein to stabilizeblood sugar levels.
Power Pack your Oatmeal
Take your usual everyday plain quick cooking oats (NOT THE ONESTHAT HAVE SUGAR) and cook it according to the directions on thelabel and add 1-2 scoops of LYNfit Complete Protein powder toit.
