
Stephanie Simoni joined News 8 as a reporter, returning home to her native New England, in June of 2012.
Simoni has covered stories ranging from Savannah’s mayoral delegation in China, to fatal flash flooding at an Arkansas campground. Since returning to the Northeast, she was on the scene during Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook school shooting, and the Bridgeport train collision.
Simoni was an award-winning reporter and morning anchor for Little Rock’s KATV. While at WJCL, she established the first consumer beat in Savannah, GA. Stephanie even covered the Women’s NCAA tournament, while interning forWTOP, a Washington, D.C. radio station.
Stephanie has a degree in broadcast journalism from American University. Born and raised in Norwood, Massachusetts, she loves spending time with her family and taking advantage of the scenic New England coast!
