Syeda Abbas

Syeda Abbas is a Philadelphia native and graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. 

She started her broadcast journey as a traffic producer at Fox 29 for Good Day Philadelphia. She was also doing traffic reporting on the radio station WXPN. Syeda has worked at QVC as an on-air model for brands like Becca cosmetics and Josie Maran. 

She than moved to Erie, Pennsylvania as an anchor and reporter. There Syeda reported on Erie’s record breaking snowfall & anchored and produced her shows. 

After that she moved to Cleveland, Ohio to be a reporter & fill-in anchor in the height of the pandemic. Syeda reported extensively on covid-19, colorism, race & diversity. 

For three years she not only learned to be an experienced on-air personality but to also give back to the community. She represented Pakistan as an emcee for the Asian American Festival. Syeda was also a moderator for the young professionals panel held in Downtown Cleveland. Syeda was the first Pakistani American news personality in both Erie & Cleveland. She also connects to the younger viewers through her TikToks where she has 15,000 followers.
