45th Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival held in New Haven on Sunday

Elm City residents were treated to gorgeous weather on Sunday for the 45th Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival.

The event, opened by News 8’s own Stephanie Simoni, featured food and fun for all ages!

More than 30 exhibits were joined by local artists, authors and nonprofits to entertain festival-goers. Plenty of local food vendors were also on hand to feed those in attendance.

The event was free and ran from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m.
