CT’s Jennee Blanco Wins Miss Southern New England And Is Getting Ready to Compete Nationally

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Miss Southern New England Teen Jennee Blanco, a Connecticut native, is getting ready to compete for National American Miss Pageant. Jennee’s platform focuses on getting bikes for kids.

National American Miss is an organization for young women to gain poise, self-confidence, and valuable communication skills. They feel good about themselves and gain the competitive edge to succeed later in whatever field they may choose. Beyond beauty, contestants must have great communication and community service skills.

Jennee’s platform focuses on Bikes for Kids.  Bikes for Kids came to be a part of the Foundation for Life in 2007. This program is a way for inner city kids to explore neighborhoods and other cultures within close proximity from where they lived.

Since its inception, the Foundation for Life, Inc. has given away over 5000 bikes and helmets to under privileged kids.More Information:
