Jane Doe No More: The strides in CT against Sexual Violence

(WTNH) – Donna Palomba, founder of Jane Doe No More, shares her story as a victim of sexual violence, the challenges she faced, and how the community is working together to improve laws and honor those who fight for victims.

Actress Mariska Hargitay & the Joyful Heart Foundation and Jim Clark | Victim Rights Center will be honored with the Dr. Henry C. Lee Award.  They are pioneers in helping victims of sexual violence. JHF helps to eliminate the rape kit backlog and the VRCCT by providing legal services to crime victims regardless of their ability to pay.

Jane Doe No More, Inc. was founded in 2007 to improve the way society responds to victims of sexual violence. Through education, awareness, advocacy and support programs, Jane Doe No More has had a direct and lasting impact on sexual violence victims in Connecticut and across the country.
