News 8’s Founder’s Day of Caring gives back at Girl Scout’s Camp AnSeOx in Oxford


News 8’s Founder’s Day of Caring highlights an organization in Connecticut in need of assistance annually.

On Monday, June 17th,  the News 8 staff is rolling up their sleeves to help rehabilitate Camp AnSeOx in Oxford which the Girl Scouts of Connecticut spend their summers participating in camp activities and learning about the outdoors. 

News 8 employees are giving back to the community by building, painting and sanding on the property. 

The Girl Scouts of Connecticut are also in need of many supplies to be able to open up Camp AnSeOx and make it enjoyable for campers.
