Save-A-Suit assists veterans with event in Hamden


Save-A-Suit is once again helping veterans get outfitted in a new uniform.

The Business & Community EXPO is taking place at Hamden High School on Tuesday to support local agencies and non-profits.

Save-A-Suit accepts professional clothing donations with the goal of passing them on to a veteran who needs them. The organization works to help these vets transition back to civilian life.

All donations must be delivered between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
