Members of the police department were touched by the family’s loss, so they wanted to put a smile back on the young boy’s face by buying him a new guinea pig.

They got him all the accessories too, including a crate and food.

The police department is also accepting donations for the family in form of cash, gift cards, clothing, etc.

To donate, you can walk into the Windsor Lock Police Department lobby at 4 Volunteer Drive and the dispatcher will accept your donations.

If mailing send to: Windsor Locks Police Dept. 4 Volunteer Drive, Windsor Locks, CT. 06096. (Care of Chief Osanitch)
