NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) – Today we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to the 40th annual Norwalk Boat Show!

With over 250 watercraft for visitors to climb aboard and tour, event spokesperson, Carrie Waible says there are boats of all types and sizes:

You have every kind of boat here at the show from a kayak that’s several hundred dollars to a yacht at several million. So you’re going to have everything from center consoles which people use a lot around Connecticut, you also have water sports boats which are really popular in Connecticut lakes so that people can go out and go wake surfing and wake boarding and water skiing.

We got an inside look at the 72-foot “queen of the show” – the Galeon 660 Fly. With three or four staterooms, the $3 million yacht is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

We also hopped on the “Jet Surf” which is essentially a surf board with a go kart motor inside. The propelling board reaches speeds of 35mph, and its popularity is swelling across the world!

The Norwalk Boat Show runs Thursday thru Sunday at the Norwalk Cove Marina. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for kids 15 and under.
