Today's Dish: Hitting the polls on Election Day

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - Are you tired today from staying up watching the election results come in? 

Hopefully you made it out to the polls, this was an important Midterm Election. 

Ned Lamont becomes Governor-Elect as Bob Stefanowski concedes. Jahana Hayes becomes first African-American woman from Connecticut to be elected to Congress

Sam Waterson of Law & Order was giving rides to the polls on Tuesday. The Litchfield County resident was driving people in Waterbury to their polling locations.

One was a first-time voter who said she had no idea her driver was famous until she saw people asking for autographs. 

Dunkin' Donuts trying to do their part to help families in need with their annual Turkey Donut Drive in Greater New Haven.

Now through Sunday, November 11 for every turkey donut sold, Dunkin' Donuts have pledged  to donate one pound of turkey to the Connecticut Food Bank.

Halloween puts Michael Jackson's song "Thriller" returns to Billboard chart.

Michael Douglas honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
