The first trailer for the Wonder Woman sequel, ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ released on Sunday.

The sequel jumps about 70 years ahead from its predecessor’s World War I setting, as the trailer makes clear with some obligatory 80’s fashion and music.

Gal Gadot returns as the super-heroine in the sequel, which reaches theaters June fifth.

51 young women representing their home states on their way to Connecticut for the 2020 Miss America competition.

The preliminary round doesn’t get going until this weekend — but those young ladies will be getting settled and rehearsing for their big night.

The official candidate arrival ceremony is Thursday, December 12 at 5:00 p.m. at the shops at Mohegan Sun. It’s free and open to the public.
