Mother’s Day is observed on the second Sunday in May in the U.S. This year, $25 billion will be spent. That’s about $196 on average on Mom.

Most people will spend money:

75%: greeting cards  
67%: give flowers 
55%: take her out to eat 
45%: gift cards and certificates
38%: clothing or clothing accessories

Kraft will pay you $100 to get a babysitter on Mother’s Day. The company will cover the costs for up to $50,000 worth of babysitting on Mother’s Day.

The offer ends on Sunday, May 19 or while funds are available. The offer is limited to one request per person, email or household address.

According to WalletHub, Connecticut comes in third as on of the best state for working moms.
