Connecticut, we want to get you moving!
It’s all part of the One Billion Steps challenge here at News 8. Each week we feature a walk, 5K, or run that you and your family can take part in.
This Sunday is the annual Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run for Children, 5K in New Haven!
We are joined by Owner, Christopher Martin’s Restaurant, Chris Vigilante and Event Coordinator, John Bysiewicz to tell you all about the Christmas Run for Children.
They hope to make Christmas a little brighter for needy children in the New Haven area by giving them a toy and a message of love from friends and neighbors they have never met. They encourage you to donate a toy!
“Over the years, our race has given over 50,000 toys to local children.”
