Conn. (WTNH) – A new movie is streaming globally now on Prime Video.

It tells the story of a gay amateur wrestler from El Paso. He rises to international stardom after he creates the character Cassandra, the Liberace of Lucha Libre. In the process, he upends not just the macho wrestling world, but also his own life.

Academy Award winner and “Cassandra” Director, Roger Ross Williams, joined News 8 to talk about the new film.
