The winner of six Grammy awards, has been in residence at the famed arena for 4 1/2 years.
He already broke the record for the most performances there in 2015, that night was just his 65th show.
In honor of his 100th show, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo proclaimed Wednesday as Billy Joel Day in the state of New York.
