‘Hamilton’ to arrive at the Bushnell Tuesday


A big opening night is set to take place on Tuesday.

The first performance of “Hamilton” is at the Bushnell in Hartford.

On Sunday, the set pieces started to arrive.

During the week, thousands of area students will take part in the Hamilton Education Program.

“We have about 2800 school kids who will be coming in from the Greater Hartford area. They’ve been working on Hamilton for a couple of months and they’ll be doing a variety of performance pieces here on the Bushnell stage working with the cast of Hamilton,” explained Bushnell Communications Manager Paul Marte.

Most shows are sold out, but you can still find them. Also, there is a lottery system you an sign up for on your phone.

It is going on until the last show on Dec. 30th.
