(WTNH) — Is Lindsay Lohan engaged? Us Weekly and other outlets, quoting those ever-anonymous “sources,” have been reporting Lohan’s boyfriend, Russian real estate heir Egor Tarabasov, popped the question last weekend. But People Magazine quotes Lohan’s rep as saying, “The story is untrue and holds no merit.”
Could Elton John be making the transition to movie star? According to the Hollywood Reporter, the “rocket man” is in negotiations to join the cast of “Kingsman: The Golden circle,” which is about to begin shooting in London. John doesn’t appear on screen too often, but he does have an Oscar for the his music for “The Lion King.”
Bruce Springsteen made news recently when he canceled a North Carolina concert to protest that state’s so-called “bathroom law,” which critics say discriminates against gays, lesbians and transgender people. But fellow veteran rockers Jimmy Buffett and Gregg Allman are not following suit. Buffett says he doesn’t want “stupidity or bigotry” to ruin his fans’ fun, and Allman, calling the situation “sad and infuriating,” posted that he hopes his show there this week will help unite people.
