Nick Fradiani ‘humble and gracious’ after American Idol win

GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Nick Fradiani made our state proud Wednesday night, becoming the first ever American Idol winner from Connecticut!

He beat out Clark Beckham to be crowned the season 14 champ.

It’s safe to say Nick Fradiani’s life has been changed forever and it all came down to the final moments of Wednesday night’s show when Ryan Seacrest revealed what everyone was waiting to hear.

With the win,  a great deal of excitement erupted inside the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, especially for Fradiani’s family and friends. Not to mention all the fans.

As for Fradiani, he was speechless and added it was the best day of his life. He later took to twitter and posted this message:

Fradiani won’t have much down time. He’ll be signing with “Big Machine Records” and will start recording an album right away.
