Fantasy of Lights set to light up the night on Friday


The Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven is gearing up for opening night this Friday.

Crews and volunteers are putting the finishing touches on the 60 light displays that decorate the one-mile drive around the park. 

The popular holiday attraction benefits a great cause.

“For 24 years, it’s been run by volunteers and sponsors throughout the Greater New Haven area to help us at Goodwill Industries of Southern New England fulfill our mission. Our mission is to help people with disabilities and other barriers to work find employment,” explained Richard Borer, President of Goodwill Industries of Southern New England.

The Fantasy of Lights tour costs just $10 per car, opens this Friday at 5:00 p.m., and will run through Dec. 31st.
