Holidays

World famous chef Jacques Pépin lives right here on Connecticut’s beautiful shoreline.

Recently, he traveled to Sarah Cody’s home to share a favorite holiday recipe.

“A little something I do with my granddaughter…recipe with her,” he explained.

“We have chocolate, you can melt it in the microwave oven. It’s bittersweet chocolate. It has sugar in it.”

“You buy little cupcake cups and put them out on a plate. There’s no place like the kitchen to cook together and the table to talk…”

“Usually, I make a mess…that’s the fun. We have peanuts, pistachio, almonds.”

“Put that in the refrigerator…we’ll need a half hour or so… You mix it in there like this..put them on cookie sheet, they become hard.”

“Look at that, it’s beautiful!”
