(WTNH) — Last week Dwight Gooden talked with News 8 about some of the dark times of his career, which were brought on by cocaine and alcohol abuse.
However, there were plenty of great memories too. The Mets drafted Gooden with the fifth pick in the 1982 draft. He made his major league debut in 1984 and spent the first 11 years of his career in Queens, NY.
