$1.4 billion renovation plan drawn up for Bradley International Airport


A new plan is on the table for a big expansion at Bradley International Airport.

The Connecticut Airport Authority has drawn up plans for a $1.4 billion renovation that would make it easier to arrive, depart and use Bradley.

The airport authority envisions a new terminal, an onsite car rental center, more parking and more roundabouts to handle increased traffic over the next 20 years.

If the plan gets the green light from the FAA, the airport authority will start looking for the money to make it happen.
