7 displaced in Plymouth house fire

Seven people were displaced after a fire broke out at a three story home in Plymouth overnight Thursday.

The Assistant Fire Chief tells News 8 that at around 1:20 a.m., crews responded to Eagle Street for a fully involved house fire.

Upon arrival, wires landed on the first fire apparatus on scene, which then rendered two crew members unavailable to fight the fire. However, a second fire apparatus arrived about 90 seconds later to help.

It took about 90 minutes for firefighters to get the blaze under control.

No one was injured in the fire but seven people are now displaced.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
