Avon residents watch bear rummage through garbage can

It was a scary scene recently for residents in Avon.

A News 8 viewer says his wife saw a bear break through a wooden front door to get at a garbage can behind it.

The bear pulled the trash out out the can and walked away with some snacks.

No one was at the home with the garbage can at the time of the incident.
