Animals and Wildlife

A giant panda at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington has been reveling in the first snowfall of the winter.

The zoo posted video of Bei Bei rolling about and tumbling in the snow on Thursday.

The 3-year-old panda also climbed trees in his enclosure, his waterproof fur helping to insulate him against the snow.

The zoo says giant pandas are built for climbing and are able to withstand falls from trees.
