North Carolina fire department gifted oxygen masks for pets

It’s not just emergency crews who need special gear to get out of a fire safe and sound.

“This is an amazing tool that we have and the public should be extremely excited. Our main goal is life safety and that’s not just for humans,” Sgt. Zack Watson of the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department.

Those departments couldn’t be happier! They say they couldn’t foot the bill for those oxygen masks on their own.
