Study: Dogs not as smart as we thought

Dog lovers may not believe this.

A new study suggests that man’s best friend is not as smart as we have been led to believe.

This study compares canine cognition to other carnivores, social hunters and domestic animals, all groups that dogs fall into.

Researchers used existing behavior information of wolves, cats, dolphins, chimps and other animals to see if dogs possessed any special skills not recorded in other species.

The conclusion was that they did not.
