Armed Standoff in East Hartland ends peacefully


State Police confirm with News 8 that a 75-year-old man armed with a handgun barricaded himself inside of a car in East Hartland Saturday afternoon.

Officials from the State Police Emergency Services Unit along with Troop B troopers were able to take the man into custody without incident. 

Police say no injuries resulted from the standoff.
