(WTNH)–State Attorney General George Jepsen is demanding answers from the health insurance company Anthem after a major cyber-attack affecting tens of millions of people nationwide.

The personal information for 1.4 million people in Connecticut may have been compromised in the attack, including names, social security numbers and dates of birth.

Jepsen said Anthem has failed to communicate and give guidance to those affected.

“My office has been flooded with phone calls from concerned Connecticut residents who are frustrated with the lack of information from Anthem, and their feelings are completely justified,” Jepsen said.

The Attorney General said he will give Anthem 24 hours to respond.
