Bank robbery suspect caught, taken to hospital

A man has been arrested in Connecticut in connection to a bank robbery.

The Stamford Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/2NVeQWB) the First Bank of Greenwich was robbed shortly before 1 p.m. on Monday.

Police captured the suspect at a nearby service center for the homeless minutes later. The man was taken to Stamford Hospital to be evaluated upon arrest.

Police have not identified the man who they say is a Stamford resident. They recovered a bag of money taken from the bank.
