Beardsley Zoo looks to cut down on plastic waste

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has officially kicked off its campaign to reduce plastic waste.

The Peacock Cafe at the Bridgeport zoo has replaced its plastic straws with paper straws.

The cafe now has more sustainable options instead of single use plastic food containers and utensils.
