United States Senator Richard Blumenthal is fighting to keep 21 Puerto Rican families in emergency housing here in Connecticut.

President Donald Trump had ordered an end to housing aid, which a federal judge temporarily blocked over the weekend.

However, Senator Blumenthal says the families’ lives are still in limbo.

Blumenthal will call on the Trump administration to commit to a long-term recovery and rebuilding for Puerto Rico at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning in Hartford. He will be joined by members of the Connecticut Puerto Rican community.
