Blumenthal to speak with students as FDA moves to limit flavored e-cigarettes

There is a call for stronger action against flavored e-cigarettes, as the teenage vaping epidemic continues.

The Food and Drug Administration has proposed new restrictions on flavored tobacco products, like limiting sales to stores and websites where customers need to verify their age.

But, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal says kids can still easily buy the products.

Blumenthal plans to meet with students at Conard High School in West Hartford on Friday, where he will call for a complete ban on all flavored e-cigarettes in stores and online.
