Body found in abandoned Hartford building

Officials are investigating after a body was discovered in an abandoned building in Hartford on Tuesday.

According to police, units were dispatched to 15 Grand Street for a report of a deceased person.

Inside, officers said they discovered a man’s body in a crawl space on the third floor.

Police stated the individual appears to have been deceased for “an extended period of time.”

Officials said there are no immediate indications of foul play.

The cause of death is not known at this time.

The man’s identity has not been released.
