Body found off of Yale Avenue in Meriden


MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials in Meriden say the body of a middle aged man was located face down in a body of water Tuesday afternoon.

Meriden emergency officials were called to the scene in the area of Yale Avenue at 1:07 p.m.

Police say at this time, they do not suspect the man’s death was an indication of criminal activity.

The identify of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of the family.
