Bridgeport man identified as person killed in triple shooting

According to police, gunshots were fired in the area of 553 Hollister Street on Sunday at 7:28 p.m. 20 rounds were fired at a car and at least three peope that were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting were struck by gunfire.

Police say the three victims were men, ages 17, 21, and 22. All three were driven to Bridgeport Hospital   The 17-year-old and 22-year-old men sustained non-life threatening injuries while the 21-year-old man was listed in critical condition and died a short time later.  He is identified as Tyron Heard of Bridgeport.

Police are continuing investigation at the crime scene on Hollister Street.
