Busy beach day for July 4th holiday

News

A heads up for any beach goers. With the warm weather on tap for Wednesday, you can expect those state parks that are open to get very busy.

If you do head to the beach for the holiday, you have to be ready.

You’re going to need a lot of water today. It is already very humid and you can feel the stickiness in the air.

Make sure you have sunscreen, of course. If you are going to the beach early there are a lot of bugs, so don’t forget bug spray.

Another necessity is a beach towel and the bigger, the better because there is prime real estate for you to claim your spot on the sand.

For families, make sure you bring toys for your kids as well.

Also, be sure to pack your patience because there will be traffic for the holiday.
