Capitol Report: Bronin bails on race for governor, Republican candidates take stage for final debate


The race for governor is getting slimmer by the week.

Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin is officially out of the race for the state’s top job, instead saying he plans to focus on his duties serving the Capitol city.

Bronin is halfway through his first term.

On the other side of the aisle, the 5th and final Republican Gubernatorial Debate happened last Wednesday.

Nine candidates took the stage for the last time before the state convention at Foxwoods on May 11th.
