NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — On Saturday, Hillary Clinton stopped by Costco in Brookfield for a signing for her new book “What Happened,” which details her 2016 election loss to Donald Trump. People were camped out overnight outside the bookstore.

Hearst Connecticut Media political reporter Neil Vigdor joined “Capitol Report” to talk about it.

“It was kind of like an iPhone release or a Harry Potter book release,” Vigdor said. “You had people camping out with their kids. It’s got to be quite a comedown for Clinton, to have people lined up near the tire shop, at Costco, through a rear loading dock, past toilet paper and paper towels, and she stayed there for over two hours signing about 1,000 books.”
