Car enthusiasts turn out in New Britain for a good cause

Classic cars, vintage car enthusiasts and families were in New Britain for the 26th Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series.

It was a 10 dollar donation to show your car, but viewing was free. All makes and models, including hot rods, muscle cars, electric vehicles, antiques and imports were welcome.

The Klingberg program sponsor is an outpatient clinic, which offers individual, family, and group therapy for children struggling ADHD, anxiety, depression and school difficulties.

What used to be a once a year event has turned into something more.

“Each of the shows sort of features a different group of cars, but all vintage automobiles are welcome. The money raised from the show goes to support the 20 services and programs we provide to children and families”, said Steven Girelli, President of Klingberg Family Centers.
