Celebration to be held in North Haven for families who adopt

There is a celebration for Connecticut families on Friday who have made the decision to adopt. 

Friday, November 16th, marks Adoption Day in the state.  An event will take place at the Cinemark theater, at 550 Universal Drive, in North Haven at 3 p.m. 

The day coincides with the national premiere of ‘Instant Family,’ a film about a family that adopts three siblings.  The movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne. 

There are also 76 adoptions scheduled to occur in 11 Juvenile Courts across Connecticut on Friday.
